What is ClickSync?
ClickSync is an embedded Shopify app that automatically syncs order and customer events to your ClickUp Workspace. It acts as an automated CRM connector, transforming events like new orders or fulfillments into actionable ClickUp tasks.
How fast do Shopify events sync to ClickUp?
ClickSync uses a secure queue processor that processes pending events every 5 minutes. This batched pattern ensures your API limits are respected, prevents duplicate entries during webhooks retries, and avoids hitting ClickUp's rate limits.
Does it impact my store's loading speed?
No. ClickSync runs completely asynchronously in the background. When an order is placed, Shopify sends a webhook notification to our app server. The customer's frontend checkout experience is 100% unaffected.
What events can I synchronize?
We support a broad range of store triggers, including: new Orders, Draft Orders, Customers registration, Refunds creation, Checkout updates, and Order Fulfillment events.
Can I map Shopify variables to ClickUp custom fields?
Yes. With the **Pro Plan**, you can map any Shopify data point (e.g. Order Total, Customer Email, Shipping Address, Item Quantity) directly to text, number, checkbox, drop-down, or currency custom fields in ClickUp.
Where can I check the sync history?
Inside the app, click the **Sync Audit Logs** tab. You'll see a complete historical grid showing the trigger time, event type, status (Success/Failed), and a direct clickable URL to the generated ClickUp task for easy validation.
How do I connect my ClickUp Workspace?
During the onboarding wizard, click "Connect ClickUp". You will be redirected to ClickUp's secure OAuth consent page. Log in, select the workspace you wish to grant access to, and you will be returned to the app to complete mapping rules.
What happens if I uninstall the app?
When you uninstall ClickSync, Shopify triggers a redaction webhook. We immediately delete all your credentials, access tokens, sync mappings, and local session details from our database, ensuring zero leftover footprints.
